Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
My passion for health and fitness stems from my background as an athlete.
From a very young age, I’ve been involved in various sports such as indoor
and beach volleyball, floorball, field hockey, long distance running, cycling
and triathlon. Having indulged in such an active lifestyle naturally led to
injuries and visits to different practitioners. This sparked a keen interest into
really understanding the human body, its anatomy, physiology, kinetics and
biomechanics.

I started my educational journey with a degree in physiotherapy in
Germany. Throughout school, I had the pleasure of working in various
rehabilitation clinics across Germany, where I was able to gain extensive
knowledge about chronic pain management. But it wasn’t until my first visit
to an osteopathic practitioner as well as an acupuncturist that my eyes
were opened to the possibility of using gentle treatment to correct posture
and misalignments, as well as the ability to support the body’s very own
healing properties.
Following the completion of a Bachelor of Science with Honours degree in
traditional Chinese acupuncture from Middlesex University London, UK, I
travelled for a few years and gained work experience across the world
before coming to Canada and working as a personal trainer.
After more than 10 years of amazing experiences helping people recover
and improve their conditions and overall quality of life, I decided to fulfill my
inner geek and return to school. Getting a diploma in osteopathic manual
practice was the perfect addition to my set of skills.
In my practice, I combine all my knowledge to encourage and guide the
body to self-regulate and function optimally. Easing and ultimately ending
pain is a top priority which is why I’ve put so much time and effort into
advancing my education, practice and techniques.
