Are you struggling with neck pain? Discover how osteopathy can improve your overall well-being and alleviate your discomfort.
Osteopathy is a holistic manual therapy that focuses on the relationship between the structure and function of the body. Its goal is to reduce pain and improve mobility to promote overall health and well-being.

Neck pain is a widespread problem that affects millions of people worldwide.

The causes of neck pain can be complex and range from:
poor posture, injury, or overuse, to underlying medical conditions and chronic pain. Therefore, a thorough evaluation is necessary to determine the root cause of the problem.
Manual osteopathy is the best treatment for neck pain as it addresses the root cause of the problem instead of managing symptoms. Through gentle hands-on techniques, a manual osteopath works to restore balance and flexibility, making it the ideal choice for individuals seeking a non-invasive, effective way to treat neck pain.

What some of my client say

After giving birth to my daughter I was experiencing severe back spasms and pain. After only 4 sessions with Hagen my pain is gone. I haven’t experienced any spasms or pain in my back at all. He has such a soft and thorough way of treating, his knowledge of the body is evident and I have recommended him to all of my friends in my mommy group !

The service was highly professional, thorough and comfortable. My chronic pain felt relieved in ways that massage therapy was never able to alleviate. Highly recommend.

Here are 3 stretches for neck pain relief you can do at home:

neck-stretch
Side neck stretch: To perform the neck tilt stretch, stand or sit upright and slowly tilt your head to one side, bringing your ear towards your shoulder. The arm on the opposite side reaches down toward the ground to increase the stretch. Hold the stretch for 10-15 seconds, then repeat on the other side, repeating the stretch 2-3 times on each side, slowly and avoiding any quick or jerky movements.
Neck Extension: This stretch targets the muscles at the back of your neck. Begin by sitting or standing up straight, and then interlace your fingers and place your hands at the back of your head. Gently press your head backward while keeping your chin tucked, hold for 5 seconds and repeat 10 times.
chin-tuck
Chin Tucks: This stretch helps to improve your posture and reduce tension in your neck. Start by sitting or standing up straight, and then gently tuck your chin inwards while keeping your eyes facing forward. Hold for 5 seconds and repeat 10 times.
