Do you suffer from persistent shoulder pain?

Discover how osteopathy can help improve your overall well-being and restore your mobility.
Osteopathy is a holistic, manual therapy that focuses on the interplay between the structure and function of the body. The goal of osteopathy is to promote health and well-being by reducing pain and improving mobility.

At some point, almost everyone experiences shoulder pain. It can be caused by poor posture, overuse, injuries, age-related wear and tear, and underlying medical conditions. Identifying the root cause is crucial to finding effective treatment.
Manual osteopathy is an excellent treatment for shoulder pain, as it is designed to address the underlying cause of the pain, rather than just managing the symptoms. Using gentle hands-on techniques, a manual osteopath works to restore balance and flexibility, providing a non-invasive and effective long-term solution to shoulder pain.

What some of my client say

After giving birth to my daughter I was experiencing severe back spasms and pain. After only 4 sessions with Hagen my pain is gone. I haven’t experienced any spasms or pain in my back at all. He has such a soft and thorough way of treating, his knowledge of the body is evident and I have recommended him to all of my friends in my mommy group !

The service was highly professional, thorough and comfortable. My chronic pain felt relieved in ways that massage therapy was never able to alleviate. Highly recommend.

Here are 4 stretches for shoulder pain relief you can do at home:

crossbody-stretch
Cross-body stretch: This stretch can help relieve pain in the back of the shoulder. To perform it, bring one arm across your chest, using your opposite hand to gently pull your arm closer to your body. Hold the stretch for 30 seconds and repeat on the other side.
back-stretch
Wall angels: This stretch can help improve posture and alleviate pain in the shoulders and upper back. Stand with your back against a wall and slowly raise your arms overhead, keeping your elbows and wrists in contact with the wall. Lower your arms back down and repeat for 10 repetitions.
chest stretch
Chest stretch: This stretch can help alleviate pain and tightness in the front of the shoulders and chest. Stand in a doorway with your forearms resting against the frame. Step forward with one foot and lean forward until you feel a stretch in your chest and shoulders. Hold the stretch for 30 seconds and repeat on the other side.
Thread the needle stretch: This stretch can help relieve tension in the shoulders and upper back. Start on your hands and knees with your hands directly under your shoulders. Thread one arm under your opposite arm, reaching as far as you can, and then rest your shoulder and head on the floor. Hold the stretch for 30 seconds and repeat on the other side.
