complex, ranging from poor posture, overuse, injury, age-related wear and tear and underlying medical conditions. A thorough evaluation is needed to determine the root cause of the problem.
Manual osteopathy is the best
treatment for back pain, as it is
designed to address the root cause of the problem, rather than just managing the symptoms. Using gentle hands-on techniques, a manual osteopath works to restore balance and flexibility, making it the best choice for those seeking a non-invasive, effective way to treat back pain.
With my background in physiotherapy, traditional Chinese acupuncture and personal training, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the field of manual osteopathy. This allows me to provide a truly holistic approach to treating back pain.
After giving birth to my daughter I was experiencing severe back spasms and pain. After only 4 sessions with Hagen my pain is gone. I haven’t experienced any spasms or pain in my back at all. He has such a soft and thorough way of treating, his knowledge of the body is evident and I have recommended him to all of my friends in my mommy group !

3 stretches for back pain relief
Child’s pose: Start on hands and knees with arms under shoulders and knees hip-width apart, then lower hips back towards heels while stretching arms out in front or along the sides and rest forehead on the ground. Hold the stretch for 30 seconds to a minute while focusing on deep breathing, then release by walking hands back to knees and returning to hands and knees position.
To stretch your mid back using a foam roller, lie on the roller perpendicular to your spine, use your legs to roll up and down and find tight or sore spots, then hold the stretch for 30-60 seconds by gently pressing into the foam roller. Breathe deeply and relax your muscles, only apply comfortable pressure, and stop if you experience pain.
To perform the neck tilt stretch, stand or sit upright and slowly tilt your head to one side, bringing your ear towards your shoulder. The arm on the opposite side reaches down toward the ground to increase the stretch. Hold the stretch for 10-15 seconds, then repeat on the other side, repeating the stretch 2-3 times on each side, slowly and avoiding any quick or jerky movements.
Whether it’s lower back, middle back, or upper back / neck pain, manual osteopathy is extremely effective in treating it.
